How to get your clips approved

Clips get approved when they follow the campaign's brief exactly: the right content, the required tags, hashtags and links, a real edit rather than a reupload, posted publicly on a platform the brief allows, submitted with the post's own link, and kept up while views are counted. Most rejections come from missing one of those.

Read the brief before you cut

The brief is the contract. It says what footage to use, which platforms count, what each post must include, what's banned, and how clips are reviewed. Reviewers check your clip against it, not against your idea of a good clip.

Read it once before you start, and again before you submit. Briefs change, and a rule added last week still applies to your clip.

Keep a copy of the brief as it was when you posted, with the date. If a clip is rejected under a rule that wasn't there yet, you have something to point to.

Required tags, hashtags and links

Many campaigns require a tag of the creator's account, specific hashtags, a phrase in the caption or a link in your bio. Missing one is the easiest way to get rejected, and the easiest to avoid.

Copy them straight from the brief into a note you paste from every time. Retyping is how a hashtag ends up misspelled.

Put the required parts where the brief says: a hashtag in the caption is not the same as one in a comment, and a link in your bio is not the same as one in the description. If the brief says the creator's name must be visible in the video, a caption mention won't do.

Edit, don't reupload

Campaigns pay for clips, not reposts. Posting a segment of the stream as it is, in its original shape with no captions or cut, is likely to be rejected, and platforms tend to treat unedited reuploads as unoriginal content too.

A real clip picks one moment, cuts it tight, reframes it for vertical, and adds captions. Renafy's AutoClip does that: it finds the moments, cuts them into vertical clips with word-by-word captions, and the Webcam + gameplay layout puts the facecam on top and the game below. You still review every clip before you post.

Watermarks and audio

Don't post a clip with another app's watermark on it, and don't add your own branding unless the brief allows it. Some briefs require a specific overlay or logo; use exactly the one they give you.

Keep the audio the brief wants. Adding music you don't have rights to can get the sound muted or the post taken down, and a muted clip earns little. Check the levels too: a streamer who's quiet against loud game audio loses viewers in the first seconds. The free audio balancer fixes that in the browser.

Post and submit the right way

Before you submit, check each clip against this list:

  1. Posted on a platform the brief allows, from a public account the campaign accepts.
  2. The clip uses only the footage the brief asks for.
  3. Every required tag, hashtag, caption phrase and bio link is there.
  4. No other app's watermark, and audio the brief allows.
  5. You submit the post's own link, not your profile or a link to a different post.
  6. You submit within the window the brief sets, and only once per clip.

Keep the post up

Views are usually counted over a period after you submit. Deleting, archiving or making the post private during that time can void the payout, so leave it up until the campaign has paid.

Don't buy views or use engagement tricks. Campaigns and platforms look for fake views, and a flagged clip, or account, isn't paid.

Keep a simple log: each clip, where it's posted, the link you submitted, when, and the result. It shows you which rules you keep tripping on, and it's your record if a payout goes missing.

If a clip is rejected

Read the reason, if there is one. Fix the cause on your next clips rather than arguing this one. If the same reason keeps coming back, or there's never a reason at all, the campaign may not be worth your time.

If you think a rejection was a mistake, ask once, politely, through the channel the campaign gives you, with the post link and the line of the brief it follows. Then move on to the next clip rather than waiting on the answer.

Questions

Why was my clip rejected with no reason?

Some campaigns review in bulk and don't explain. Check your clip against the brief line by line; it's usually a missing tag, the wrong footage or an unedited segment.

How long does approval take?

It depends on the campaign and the platform it's listed on; the listing or brief usually says. Leave the post up and unchanged while you wait.

Can I resubmit a rejected clip?

Only if the brief allows it. Usually it's better to fix the cause and post a new clip.

Will a new account get clips rejected?

Not for being new, unless the brief asks for a following or posting history. A new account's clips may get fewer views at first, which matters for the view minimum, not for approval.

Can I post the same clip on several platforms?

If the brief allows each platform, usually yes, and you submit each post separately. Some campaigns only pay on one platform; the brief says.
