How often should you post clips

Post every day, at a volume you can keep up for weeks: for most clippers that is one to three clips a day per account. Consistency beats bursts, because each clip is another chance to clear a campaign's view minimum, and an account that posts steadily gives the platform more to learn from.

Why consistency beats bursts

Clipping pays per view on each approved clip, so your income is a numbers game: more good clips, more chances. But fifteen clips on Sunday and nothing for six days is worse than two a day. Platforms test each new post with a small audience first; a steady stream of posts gives you steady tests, and the account builds a clear picture of who it's for.

Bursts also wear you out. The clippers who keep earning are the ones still posting in month three, which means a routine that fits around the rest of your life.

How many clips a day

Start with one clip a day per platform, every day, for two weeks. If you can keep that up and quality holds, go to two, then three. Past that, quality usually drops faster than views rise, unless the source material is strong enough to feed it.

Quality is the limit, not the upload button. A weak clip doesn't just get no views: it teaches the platform that your account's posts get skipped. One strong moment beats three filler ones. If a stream had only two good moments, post two.

Say a campaign pays $1.50 per 1,000 views with a 5,000-view minimum. Two clips a day that each clear it at 8,000 views is $24 a day; ten rushed clips that stall at 3,000 earn nothing. These are example numbers, but the shape is real: the minimum rewards quality over volume.

Batch the work, spread the posts

You don't have to clip every day to post every day. Most clippers batch: one or two sessions a week to find moments and cut clips, then scheduled posts across the week.

  1. Pick the streams or videos for the week from the campaigns you're on.
  2. Find the moments and cut them in one session. Renafy's AutoClip gives you up to 10 captioned clips per run, each with why it was picked, so a session is mostly reviewing.
  3. Review every clip: trim the start to the hook, fix caption words, drop the weak ones.
  4. Export them all and name the files by day so the order is clear.
  5. Schedule or post them through the week, at times your audience is on, and submit each link the day it goes live.

A sample week

Here is one way a week can look for a clipper on one campaign, posting two clips a day to one account on each platform the brief allows. Monday evening: pick the week's streams and run them through, then review and keep the best eight or so. Thursday evening: do it again for the second half of the week. Every day: post the day's two clips, submit the links, and note yesterday's numbers in your sheet.

That is two longer sessions and ten minutes a day. Adjust it to your week; the point is that clipping and posting are separate jobs, and posting never waits on clipping.

Keep a small buffer. A day or two of finished clips in reserve means a busy day doesn't break the streak.

Multiple accounts and niches

An account does best when its clips are for one audience: one creator, or one game, or one topic. Mixing a cooking streamer with a shooter streamer on one account confuses both audiences. If you clip for campaigns in different niches, a separate account per niche usually makes sense.

Before you run several accounts, read each platform's current rules on multiple accounts, and the campaign's brief. Platforms generally allow more than one account, but they act against duplicate content spam, fake engagement, and accounts that dodge bans. Keep each account real: its own name, its own niche, original edits.

More accounts also means more work. Only add one when the first is on a steady schedule.

Track what works

Keep a simple sheet: date, account, platform, campaign, the moment in one line, how long the clip runs, views after three days, and whether it cleared the minimum. After a few weeks, patterns show up: which creators, which kind of moment, which length, which first second.

Then post more of what clears the minimum and less of what doesn't. That matters more than finding the perfect posting time. The clipping earnings calculator turns your average views and clip count into a weekly figure, so you can see what a change is worth.

Questions

Is posting too much bad?

Posting more than you can keep good is. Low-quality clips get skipped, and that holds your account back. Raise volume only while quality holds.

What's the best time to post clips?

When your audience is awake and scrolling. Each platform's analytics shows when your followers are active; test a few times and keep what works. It matters less than the clip itself.

Should I delete clips that flop?

Usually not. Deleting doesn't fix the account, and a clip can pick up views later. Learn from it and post a better one.

How many clips can I get from one stream?

It depends on the stream: some have two strong moments, some have ten. The clips-from-one-video calculator estimates it from the length.
